Well, Tiger Woods has a trainer. Lebron James has a trainer. Michael Jordan had a trainer. So if you’re an athlete or a potential athlete, why wouldn’t you have one? But let’s just say you’re not an athlete, but you want to stay in shape or lose weight. A trainer can be very beneficial…if you pick the right one! A trainer makes sure you are doing things the right way or the safe way. A trainer is also there to provide motivation. That’s what a lot of us need. Lastly, trainers hold you accountable. They make sure you do what you’re supposed to do to get to your goal.

“Kareem, I’ve been trying very hard to develop a six pack. I do stomach crunches until I’m blue in the face, but it’s not working. What am I doing wrong?”

“Great Question. It can be several reasons why. Just know that there’s really no easy way to do it. It’s going to take hard work. Your first focus should be nutrition. What you’re putting in your body plays a big part in obtaining that six pack. It all comes down to clean eating. Secondly, don’t focus so much on crunches. Try focusing more on “core” exercises, which actually covers crunches as well. Lastly, give yourself time. Everybody’s body is different. You DO have a six pack somewhere in there, you just have to get rid of everything around it.”
